I. GENERAL INFORMATION
- There is a one central computerized registration counter for OPD during hospital timings.However, there is another computerized registration counter which function round the clock in room no. 3 in casualty block for registration of admissions of indoor patients and emergency registration which also serves as a reception- cum enquiry. Signage at strategic points is available for the convenience of hospital users. Average waiting time for registration is 15 minutes.
- This hospital is a general secondary level hospital and only district hospital in east district, which provides medical care to all patients who come to this hospital.It caters 12 police stations and 2 police post of east district. Standard of service may be influenced by workload and availability of resources available at that particular time.The hospital being only a secondary level hospital does not provide super specialty care.

In addition to above, 06 beds in ICU, 12 beds in SNCU and 14 beds in Casualty are available. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner food as advised by the dietician is provided free of cost to indoor patients.
Only one attendant can remain with the patient. A pass will be issued at the time of admission and will be collected back at the time of discharge.

- There are 05 operation theatres, two major OT’s (one in casualty block and one in main OT block, there are 02 tables in each OT and three minor OT’s, one in casualty block, one in OPD block and one in Labour Room Gynae.

- DRUG DISTRIBUTION:
- Medicines prescribed by the doctors are available as per Delhi Govt. Drug formulators on pharmacy counters free of cost.Medicines are usually given for three days for OPD patients but in special clinics as per recommendations of specialists.There are 6 counters for rapid disbursement of medicines during OPD from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm.

- MEDICO LEGAL FACILITIES
- Medico legal and post-mortem services are available.A mortuary headed by forensic expert with storage capacity for 10 bodies is functioning.For this purpose, 12 police stations have been attached to his hospital for medico-legal works and 07 police stations for post-mortem. A board is functioning to determine the ages for referred cases.
